Creating Menus
- To create a Menu Item go to administer >> menus
- Find the menu that you want your item to go under
- Click on Add Item
- Under Title enter the name you will give the item
- Under Description enter any information you would like a user to see when their mouse hovers over the title (optional).
- Under Path you can enter the url of where the menu will link to or if it will an internal link you can just enter a descriptive name that you will use such as "about". (More information is available on the URL Settings page.)
- Checking expanded will have the menu always appear expanded if it has other menu items below it.
- Under Parent Item select the Menu or the Menu Item that it appears below.
- Weight - Menu items are sorted alphabetically. The default weight is 0. If you wish to move the item up or down you either weigh it down by selecting a positive number or make it lighter by selecting a negative number.
